Tips
- Consider having your pet "micro-chipped" next time you visit your vet.
- Always keep a current photo of your pet on hand.
- Make certain your pet has a name tag with current phone numbers, addresses, and medication alerts.
- When missing a pet, make certain someone is answering the phone number listed on your pets tag and/or advertised on flyers, especially when others are out looking for your pet.
- When looking for a pet, make certain only one person is calling, your pets name, otherwise your pet can get confused and end up running in circles.
- As soon as you notice your pet is missing, make and distribute brightly colored (yellow is best) flyers (which include a current photo) in the area where your pet was lost. Remember, you can't distribute too many, and make certain you include all phone numbers where you can be reached.
Also make sure to contact santafepets at, santafepets.com or 505-920-1774, so we can include your pet's information on our site.
