In Santa Fe, dogs and cats are members of the family. Today, Santa Fe households bring more pets into their homes than ever before. Some families even tell us they get “pets for their pets” knowing instinctively that two or more pets provide companionship and entertainment for their furry friends. In the year 2000, in the United States, there were 3.1 pets per household! Since we have so many furry friends living with us, it is not surprising that we want them to be clean and comfortable members of our families. We love the furry cuddliness of our four-legged friends, and regular grooming helps keep our clothes, bedding, furniture, and floors as clean as possible. It also improves the quality of life of our beloved friends.
When choosing a grooming shop, ask friends and trusted neighbors for a referral. Visit a shop or two and take a tour, talk to the staff, watch the grooming process and ask questions. Your groomer has much to offer, and can often help answer questions you may have.
